Cut My Heart Out

For valentines day last year I gave my fiance  (now husband) a puzzle.
But this puzzle was one I hand made.  I wrote him a poem and then
typed it out and printed it out in a fancy font.

After that I glued it onto a piece of cardboard and drew pictures
around the words.  Then came the hard part, I took an x-acto knife and
carefully cut out puzzle pieces and each puzzle piece had a heart
piece cut out of the middle (all together it took a weekend to cut all
the pieces).

Afterwards I took a thick piece of red ribbon and bundled it all up
and gave it to him on Valentines day and just watched him as he put it
together and and read the poem I wrote him.  I had fun making it, and
he had fun putting it together.
