Women love miniatures. It begins when they are but a few years old as evidence with dolls (miniature adults). I think the recent success with Beanie Babies is partly due to them being baby animals. If the animals looked more like adults, they wouldn't be so "cute." Who doesn't find puppies and kittens adorable? If you are ever in a bind for a gift for your special lady - think baby sized. Many women still have a fondness for dolls, doll houses and the tiny furniture that goes inside. Athena has a small collection of teapots so she really enjoyed the tiny tea set I bought for her. For musicians, search for pint-sized instruments. Find tiny books for book lovers. For gardeners, small flower pots and gardening tools. I've seen live miniature daisies and African Violet plants that are only an inch or two tall. While you are at it, buy an itsy bitsy watering can to water those tiny plants. The ideas are endless. Just think small.
