As of Tuesday afternoon when I am putting this issue together, still
no birth to report. Today is the actual *due date* so I should have
something to report next week.
I have finally finished all the paperwork, legal filings, back account
openings, etc to announce my non-profit foundation. The name is
Love One Another Foundation and the main thrust will be to give grants
to disadvantaged youth to be able to attend summer camp, buy sports
uniforms, take music lessons and do other things that will greatly
enrich their lives.
Many have commented how they would like to be part of this charitable
work so I am opening it up for others to join me in this crusade of

That's Amore

I once gave my wife a basket containing all the necessary ingredients
for a pasta dinner. I did not just give her a box of Mac and Cheese
or spaghetti with Ragu sauce. I included her favorite noodles.
Gemelli are two pasta strands twisted around each other and look like
they are in love. I shopped at an Italian grocery store for a small
brick of real Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. I bought her favorite
spaghetti sauce. The kind that comes in a Mason jar, and costs double
the price of the run of the mill brands.
I included a small bottle extra virgin olive oil, and a baguette
(French bread). To complete the basket and to give it the final
romantic touch, I placed a couple of garlic cloves on top. Had I
known then about her love of Italian songs, I would have included a CD
by Andre Bocelli.
Lady and the tramp never had a more romantic meal.
