Romantic Tip of the Week October 14 Athena and I have just returned from celebrating our 100th (monthly) anniversary in Europe. I'll be writing about some of Europe's romantic charms (such as Verona and Venice, Italy) in upcoming issues of the newsletter. But for now, the Tip of the Week has returned. Enjoy -- Michael * What Weapons are You Hiding? I have lots of weapons in the house. My wife knows I have them but doesn’t know exactly what ammo I have. She respects my privacy and doesn’t ask any questions about it. My romance arsenal is constantly changing. I don’t want to tell you what is currently in my arsenal because Athena does read the Romantic Tip of the Week. But I will give you some vague ideas about what I hide there. Of course I have a revolving supply of cards and materials to make cards (glue, crayons, comics, etc.). Occasionally there are Hershey Kisses or other chocolates in the box which eventually find their way on to my wife’s pillow, vanity, writing desk or other special place. In the past, I have hidden my glow in the dark chalk and stars (see back issues of The Romantic newsletter on how I use them) in my weapon box while I pondered how and when to best use them. My box has also been home to Rain-X anti fog (another unique idea first published in the newsletter and since has been copied around the world) , silly string, Kool-Aid and several other zany items. Perhaps the sweetheart in your life doesn’t know you receive this Tip of the Week. Maybe you should print out these e-mails and hide them with your arsenal for assistance with future romantic "attacks." Start building up your supplies today. I really beef up my supplies after Valentine’s each year when the items go on clearance. There are chocolates, stickers, unique candies, candles, small books and many, many other items that you can stash away for emergencies. Time for me to go use up some of my supplies. ..................................................................
