I was having a very stressful day at the office and wasn't going to be home until 9PM. When I walked through the door he greeted me with a kiss and my favorite glass of Chardonnay. He already had the kids cleaned up and put to bed. I told him I'd be right back because I wanted to put on some relaxing clothes.

As I headed towards the bedroom, I noticed the door was closed which was unusual because it's always open. Upon opening the door I found our bedroom had been transformed into a heavenly shrine. He lit many of my scented candles so the room smelled great. He put one of those 3 hour logs in the fireplace so there was the warm glow of the fire going. The bed was turned down and sprinkled with rose petals (we have several rose bushes). It was very romantic and he was so resourceful by using what we already had at home. It was the best gift for so little money.
