My husband is from Mongolia and I'm from
California. After we were married a year we moved to Mongolia.
I did fine for a couple weeks, but then I had a bout of terrible
homesickness. He hugged me and talked to me. Then he
went to his closet and came out with a present. It was the
video "Ever After"--my favorite! He had bought it in
the States months before. "I've saved this for you
because I knew you would be getting homesick. I thought this
would help." It was just a video (didn't cost much!), but
he had thought of my needs before I knew what I would need. I
cried--this time because I loved him, not because I was homesick.
We watched "Ever After" together.
