It was the middle of summer and I was meeting my boyfriend at the coffee house in town.  I had been told he had a surprise for me and has always been wonderful with surprises.

I got there and he was sitting at a table with a brown paper bag.  On the front of the bag in crayon he had written "Rainy Day Date."  He gave me the bag in which I found a box of crayons, a Sleeping Beauty coloring book and necklace he had made for me.

Inside the coloring book he had written me a note saying that I was his beautiful rose that he loved every day he was blessed with me in his life. 

We spent the afternoon coloring in the pictures and talking.  I have never forgotten that gift.
