| SCRAPPING IT ALL Submitted by: William Olson On New Year's Eve I presented my wife with a scrapbook that included
things that came out of our year together. Movie Tickets and
reviews, matchbook covers from restaurants that we had been at, post
cards, photo's, cards that were given for her birthday, anniversary,
Valentines Day, Mother's Day - for no reason at all cards. Post
cards from places we had been, excerpts from my journal, newspaper
clippings on topics that she cares about - all things that came out of
the year that we had just completed were pasted into the We have spent hours going through and talking and remembering all
that we did together. When she wants to find something out about
an activity that we did last year, she knows where to go. She is
so proud to show her friends. I am already saving and pasting the
memento's from this year into a new book. She tells me that it is
a great and very romantic way to let her know that my time with her is
very special to me. |
