4th of July - Independence Day Ideas

DECLARATION OF DEPENDENCE

This Independence day, the weather was beautiful until right before dusk. Then we got hit with a horrible thunderstorm. We had planned to go to our
state fairgrounds for a big fireworks show and tailgate picnic. Instead we spread the blanket on the living room floor and opened all the windows and enjoyed our picnic while watching mother nature's fireworks! 

But the best surprise was a letter that my husband sneaked into the picnic basket. He wrote it on parchment paper, rolled it and tied with a ribbon. It was titled "Declaration of Dependence" and in it he explained how much he depended on me and that his life wouldn't be the same without me.
