| CARVING UP A TRADITION Submitted by: Amber Brendlinger My boyfriend and I just celebrated our one year anniversary on October 15th. Being that we are both college students, we are very low on cash. We had talked about getting married so I figured he would propose for our anniversary. I knew I couldn't top his proposal for a gift to him from me. I tried to think of something unusual and fun. I decided to get us a pumpkin to carve together for Halloween. We have now decided that we will carve a
pumpkin every October as a symbol of when we met and the beautiful time of
year that we fell in love and decided to spend the rest of our lives together. |
