During the first 2 weeks of February leading up to Valentine's day, I
do a little thing for my sweetie everyday.
One of the things I did this year was to form sugar cookie dough in the
shape of a heart. I then took red food coloring and a small
paintbrush to write a message on the unbaked cookie. I baked the
cookie, and then after taking it out of the oven while still soft, I
used a knife and cut the heart into puzzle pieces, then let it cool.
After cooling all the way, I put it back together to make sure
everything fit well, then wrapped it up in a box.
My sweetie loves sugar cookies, and he had a great time putting the
cookie puzzle together to read the message!
