DAILY RITUALS

Practicing our faith in God as a couple not only strengthens our marriage but gives us many bonding opportunities.

My husband wakes me up with a steaming cup of coffee in the morning and we snuggle together as we read our bibles in bed. At meals we hold hands during grace, and whichever of us is praying thanks the Lord for the amazing miracle of being loved by the best  husband/wife in the world. 

In the evening we have a couple's devotional book 
we often read. It always ends with a few discussion questions that launch us into a wonderful time of sharing. When one of us is having a hard day, we might stick a note in the others lunch bag that says, "I'm praying for you!" or give them a hug and ask God to bless them. 

We are so blessed and so happy together, we get a lot of pleasure in competing with telling God which of us is the most blest and lucky to be married to the other. I know I'm the luckiest one of course!
