My Garden Romance story starts at home.  We are building a house and I am currently deployed to Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, so my wife dug up a little of the dirt and sent me and a lovely card so I could be at the home opening. 

It's the little thoughtful things that she does that makes me love her so much.  I know it's not the most romantic thing, a little dirt, but it goes a long way to getting a little closer to home.  I smell it often as the dirt here is mostly sand.  It means so much to me.
