Here's an idea for a themed gift basket that a friend of mine and I
always do for soon-to-be-married girlfriends. (This might be a
hundred-year-old
idea, but I hadn't heard of it until about 10 years ago.) Traditionally,
we present these baskets to the bride-to-be at bachelorette parties, but
they're so fun, you could give one to the love of your life.
It's called a "No Excuses" basket (derived from the thought
that there should be "no excuses" on your wedding night), and
it contains solutions for every excuse not to fool around! Here are just
a few of the things we always include:
Aspirin
Lots of multicolored and textured condoms
Whipped cream
Minty mouthwash, dental floss, toothbrush & toothpaste
Edible undies
Chocolate syrup
Vivarin or No Doz
KY Jelly
Soothing aromatic lotion or body oil
Candles
Chocolate candies
Of course, you can include many more fun and interesting (and risque!)
items, but this gives you an idea of what goes into the basket. It's so
much fun putting these together, but it's even more fun watching the
surprised faces of the people opening them!!
