When I first met my husband I was attracted
to his smile. Anticipating the possibility of getting to know
him better and possibly dating, I was disappointed to find out
that he smoked. A few weeks later I found out he was trying to
quit so I spent my whole lunch break driving to every store in
town looking for different kinds of gum (cool flavors, fun
packaging, etc.) because sometimes chewing gum can help.
Although we were only acquaintances at that time, I surprised
him at his apartment with a huge bag and a card encouraging him
in his endeavor to stop smoking! He did and 11 years of marriage
later, I am still so proud of him!
