THE DAY SPA submitted by: Greg Brummett Being on a limited budget but wanting to do something really special for my wife, I decided to create an "At Home Day Spa". I created a nice certificate for her to redeem for full spa treatment. I wore white clothes and provided her with Margaritas, strawberries and chocolate. I had taken plants from the house and my office and filled the bathroom with them to resemble a tropical setting. I prepared a bath, placed a love message in a bottle and put it in the tub. I gave her bath, washed and conditioned her hair. I even shaved her legs. Next she received a pedicure and manicure, while experiencing a facial mud pack (about $2 at a discount store). This was followed up with a complete warm lotion body
massage. I Then allowed her to do her hair and makeup (I wasn't about to
mess that up!) We sat and had a wonderful meal and then she rewarded me
for my effort. This whole package took several hours and is still one
our favorite memories of spending time dedicated to each other, talking
about everything.
