My fiancee is a solider in the Army, Stationed in Fort Carson, Colorado.  As a result of the war in Iraq he was sent to Kuwait on Feb. 13th and remained there until July 4th (yes he came home on our independence day, Amen)  While he was there we never let the distance become an issue.  In one photograph that he had sent me he had written " I love you"  in letters that spanned 9' long and 3 ' wide in the sands of the Kuwait desert while he knelt down on one knee above the writing. (his friend photographed the image).  It is one of my favorite photographs and is blown up and framed inside my apartment.
