I was apart from my love for a few months recently and I wasn't even able to contact him on a regular basis. So before he left, I gave him a special pack of "love envelopes". I took about thirty envelopes (one for about every couple of days we were apart) and put a special surprise inside each one. The surprises varied- a lipstick kiss on a piece of paper, a $5 Starbuck's card, a sexy photo, a home-made crossword puzzle with clues for which only he would know the answers, a love poem, stickers of things that have special meanings for us, a lock of my hair, a little note about something I love about him, a piece of his favorite candy...

I gave him the envelopes before he left, with directions to open one every few days. I also enclosed a couple of "emergency envelopes" for times in-between when he was really missing me, that contained the most special surprises.
