NOT MY MOTHER

My neighbors Karen and Bruce are very special friends with four wonderful children. They live on a very limited budget and so does Karen's mother June. The youngest of the four children was born 7 months prior to Mothers Day's 1999 and June was not able to fly from Texas to California to visit.

My fiancée and I discussed the pleasure of being with our mothers each year and felt we wanted to help bring this family together. For Mother's Day we purchased a round trip ticket for June to come to California and visit her family and see the new baby. My fiancée and I had our mothers, Karen, June and their family over to our home for Mother's Day. It was a heart warming event we will all remember for life.

Treasure your mothers always, they are with us for such a short time after we grow older.
