THE SPARKLE IN HER HANDS

This past New Year's Eve when the clock struck
twelve I gave my sweetheart a package to unwrap
which contained eight large sparklers.
We went outside and lit one each to celebrate. This left us with six sparklers. I informed my
sweetheart that we would mark the remaining six months of our engagement by lighting a
sparkler on the first of each month after a romantic home cooked dinner.
She loved the idea of celebrating the remaining six months with my sparkler idea.
