TOGETHER BUT APART Submitted by Courtney Wacker This New Years my
fiancé and I are unfortunately 1000 miles apart. So we bought a set of
millennium champagne flutes, 2 bottles of the same brand of champagne, 2
Millennium candles (the kind with the fortune inside), had the same music playing, and chatted online, pretending we were physically together to bring in the new
Millennium. It meant so much to both of us. Now we can look back and when our grandkids, or great grandkids ask how we spent the New Years for the
Millennium, we can proudly say, "With the one I love". |
