While this is a sad story, it was much appreciated and given with heartfelt emotions.

After my good friend was diagnosed with cancer (and lived one week), I quickly made him a poster and went to visit him.  I went through all of my old scrapbooks/photo albums, and found all the pictures pertaining to he and his wife and my husband and I.  I got samples of all the great times we had together and displayed them.  

He was so appreciative of reliving all the great memories, and then we also placed the poster at the funeral for all to see.  This also helped me to cope with the loss.
