DAILY AFFIRMATION submitted by: Bill Arsenault
My
wife had surgery and was somewhat unhappy with
her recovery progress. I wrote the following
affirmation for her to read aloud to herself at
least once each day to help her as she got
better. I believe that it did help her and the
fact that I had taken the time to write it also
helped her. An affirmation is a powerful tool
that anyone can use to help at times of need or
stress.
TODAY
It
is the start of another new and wonderful day.
This day is full of new possibilities and will
bring me new accomplishments. I am capable of
ALL that I need to do today and I can’t wait to
see what that will be.
I am
a very important person, a fact that many people
realize. I have confidence in my tremendous
abilities and others are amazed at my skills and
at the progress I am making. I am an awesome and
Olympic level wife and I am totally loved,
respected, and adored by my husband. He
continues to be amazed at my power and strength
for dealing with whatever challenges life
presents me.
Whenever I get discouraged by a particular day
or by the progress that I am making on that
particular day, I will remember where I was on
and before my surgery. I will consider and
rejoice in where I am now, and I will
consciously realize that I am currently a world
better than I was before now. I will also
recognize that in one, two, or ten weeks, I will
be even better than I am now. I will continue to
do everything that I can to keep up my amazing
pace of progress. I will religiously perform my
exercises and do all that I can to continue my
fitness growth. I am confident and optimistic
about my continuing efforts to improve. I will
reach a level of total healing! My surgery was
totally successful and my recovery will also be
totally successful!
I
admit that I have some pain, and that I will for
a short while. However, I am continuing to get
better every day and the pain is continuing to
lessen every day. I will continue to rejoice in
my progress and improvement. I am a fantastic,
terrific person and the strongest person my
husband knows. I agree with him! I will
persevere!
Today is going to be great!
And…
Tomorrow will be even better!
