A LAY IN THE HAY Submitted by: Diane Milner My boyfriend and I live a few hours apart and we usually only get to see each other on the weekends. I took 2 days of vacation during the week and drove down to spend some time with him. He surprised me by taking a day off work himself and we spent the whole day together at his place in the country. I had mentioned wanting to take a walk in the woods while I was there. Before I got there, he had bought a bale of hay and found a nice shady place under some trees and made a "straw" mattress for us to lay down on. We stretched out and enjoyed a "nature nap" together. I was very surprised by his thoughtfulness - and look forward to doing it again soon! |
