For a wedding gift, my ex-husband gave me a vibrator, a plain old-fashioned Victorian style cotton night gown, AND luggage.  

It was a sign of things to come.  He was horrible in bed (vibrator), he was very controlling, and treated me like his little slavish wife (Victorian, plain, cotton), and I ended up leaving in the middle of the night while he was at work (luggage).
